Business(Events and Exhibitions only)

You may apply for an eVisa if you intend to attend events, exhibitions or trade fairs under the business visa category. However, engaging in paid activities in Brazil is prohibited, and the duration of stay cannot exceed 90 days.

Requirements

It may take up to 10 working days to process your eVisa. To avoid any delays in your travel plans, we strongly recommend that you apply at least one month in advance of your intended departure date.

Color copy of the applicant's passport bio-page:

The passport issued by the People's Republic of China must be signed and have at least two blank visa pages.
Please note: a minimum of six-month validity is not a strict requirement for issuing the visa but is a common requirement by airline companies traveling to Brazil.

Invitation letter

From a Brazilian company or event organizer, in Portuguese or English, on official letterhead, with stamp and signature, addressed to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Brazil in Beijing or the relevant Consulate General (Chengdu, Guangzhou, or Shanghai)

Proof of entry method into Brazil

A printed copy of the round-trip flight itinerary (in English or Portuguese) or a statement from a travel agency containing the passenger’s name, confirmed itinerary, flight numbers, and arrival/departure dates.

For participants of academic and artistic events in Brazil

Proof of financial means: For example, bank statements for the last three months, proof of a scholarship/grant, or a formal commitment to provide financial support from the employing organization or the inviting entity in Brazil.

Supporting Documents:

While only certain documents are mandatory, applicants are strongly encouraged to include relevant supporting materials whenever available. Although not compulsory, such documentation can help clarify the purpose of travel and provide valuable context that may positively influence the visa decision.

Highly Recommended – Dispatch Letter from the applicant's employer,

in Portuguese or English, on official letterhead, with stamp and signature, addressed to the relevant Consular Section, including:

  • The employer company’s name in English.
  • The employee’s name and title, time of service for the company, and monthly salary.
  • Description of the activities to be performed in a clear, specific, and detailed manner, as well as intended duration of stay.
  • Statement that the company shall assume full responsibility and bear all costs of the trip for the applicant while in Brazil and that the applicant will not exceed the legally authorized stay.
  • Signature and stamp by a senior manager (names must be transcribed in Pinyin).
Current Passports

Clear copies of the bio-page and all stamped pages or pages containing visas from current passports.

Identification of the Signatory

A copy of the Brazilian ID card (RG) or passport bio-page of the individual who signed the invitation letter.

For Exhibitors (Fairs or Exhibitions)

Applicants representing companies with a physical presence (booth) at the event should provide:

  • Event Floor Plan: Official floor plan indicating the booth location.
  • Confirmed Exhibitor List: Updated list including the applicant company’s name.
  • Service Contract: Signed contract between the applicant company and the event organizer in Brazil.
  • Additional Evidence: Booth design approvals or invoices for exhibition space.

Processing takes up to 10 business days once your verified application is submitted.

Upon arrival, airport authorities will verify your entry authorization. To avoid issues, carry your valid passport and a printed copy of your eVisa PDF (downloadable from the dashboard)

Brazilian citizens cannot apply for eVisa, contact a Brazilian Consulate for assistance. If you have an expired Brazilian passport, you must provide proof of renouncement or apply for a new Brazilian passport. Ensure eVisa details match your travel document, as errors invalidate the visa and fees are non-refundable.
